DIVERSITY EQUALITY & INCLUSION

I am proud to be one of the founding members of Commencement Bank's Diversity Equality and Inclusion (DEI) committee.

 

Throughout my life, I have been adamant in combatting discrimination and advocating for underrepresented groups. Elevating the voices of the unheard and ensuring equity in my community is a core value I hold dear. When the bank's CEO approached me in 2020 to help form a DEI committee to foster and improve the antiracist culture of our bank, I was eager to join and put my sociology minor to good use. I'm very proud of all we accomplished and my contributions to the team
